What are your van goals for 2010???
For me it's getting the body work done on my 64, then to work on the new motor and trans. I was hoping to have it finished by Baker's 2010, but its looking like Baker's 2011

First.....finish the teardown on the parts van and get it gone!! Then I want to get the body done, maybe not painted, but done and primed. Replace the wiring with some updates. Build the cooling tunnel/console and design and at least start on the cab area.

On the 65 chevy,Get the engine and wiring buttoned up, finish the brakes, doghouse and get some seats in it, then work out the bugs. Other than looking like a rusty red rag, the 69 A truck , just needs a brake line and I can drive it around a little.

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
I'm planning on making a start on mine over Christmas.
Firstly i just want to get it road legal, so it will need some sort of roof, three point seat belts and a parking brake. Then i need to build a wiring loom for it.
After that it will hopefully pass an MOT test, which will allow me to register it and get some number plates for it.
I can't wait to drive it for the first time.....

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
Hope to have all the welding and panel repair done as well and the new 2nd Gen dog house, 2nd Batt box on th 66 by XMas. Figure I will spend Jan-Mar Sanding, Priming, Sanding, Priming, Sanding.... You get the idea!
So in the Apr-May time frame she'll be ready for paint. I also have a 200-4r sitting out back and still looking for a 327 to go with it, but that is a side-bar wish thing that can happen anytime. After paint and putting her all back together with all the goodies I have collected this year I will finish the
inside, complete with storage for all my camping/ fishing gear and then:

Re: What are your van goals for 2010???
I'm planning on restoring and recovering the four original seats in my '63 Falcon.
I've already got the seats in the basement with the new foam sitting next to them. Just need to get all the old stuff off, repaint the frames, add the new foam, then sew up the new seat covers.
Should be a fun winter project.
