3 speed manual tranny to th 350?

Hey all,
I will be pulling the 230 out of my van on weds and i was wondering how to swap in a th350 tranny with the mounts how they are on the manual tranny. there is no cross member just a stabalizer bar mounted to the side of it. any ideas? oh will be taking plenty of cool pics of my 66 during the process it will be cool!!!!

You would have to find one of the Rare T 350 hangers (for a short shaft 350), Or you can make a crossmember for it. Good Luck with your new project.

As far as hangers go, I pulled this from that thread,
