clutch kit for 1968 A 108 with 318 and a A745

Hi there,

during my restauration I want to install a new clutch kit. I disasembled the old one and like in the manual it's a 10" disk. So I ordered a new kit at rockauto that seems to fit ref # Borg Warner 90308 and the disk is fine but the holes for the pressure plate have a smaller circle as the original one that was installed.
Now I didn't find a 10" pressure plate with a wider bolt circle.

Funny thing ... a friend of mine has a 67 Dodge Coronet 440 2-dr hardtop with the same engine/transmission combination and he has exactly the same problem.

The flywheels have only six holes so there's no option installing another pressure plate

my first thought was flywheel is set up for 10 1/2" or 11" but checked rockauto before posting. I could not find any for your van or the coronet???   checked summit racing and they list 10.5", 11" and 12" but no 10".  the first clutch I viewed had a complaint in the q+a that all literature claimed theirs was an 11" but after ordering, found they needed 10.5"(different Chrysler). nothing listed for bolt pattern but their tech department should be able to narrow it down with a few measurements.  https://www.summitracing.com/search/part-type/clutch-kits/year/1968/make/dodge/model/a100-truck?SortBy=DisplayPrice&SortOrder=Ascending

I had the same idea that maybe a 10.5 could fit but I have to find somebody who measures the holes.
But the manual says that the 10" is original and also the pressure plate is the original one so I don't understand that I can't find a kit that fits.
I found that page:

and all other kits I found refer to one of these, so all the bold pattern should be the same and on the manufacturers homepage there's only infos about the disc diameter but nothing about the bold patterns of the pressure plate.
Keeps beeing a miracle. Maybe I try a 10.5...

solved the problem the old way... disassembled the new and old one, put all the new parts in the housing of the old one, put it back together and it worked very well.... but small new problem.

The clutch fork return spring was broken. I tried to find a new one but there's none that looked like mine. I'm not sure if the one in the van is the original one or somebody just installed what he found in his storage. It's a huge spring, little more than 1" in diameter and until the end where it broke about 11" long (see attached pictures)
Does anyone have a spring like that, or a picture or part number of the original one?
