by 67a 100 pickup Sun Jun 14, 2009 5:56 pmMy RF turn signal is dim and when activated at the handle both the LF and RF turn signals light up. As near as I can figure out from the manual I need a new lght assembly. The one I have is very rusty and I had the get the old bulb out in lots of pieces with needle nose pliers and then I tried to clean up the socket with my dremmel and a wire wheel. Any ideas????

Bad ground by the sound of it. Take a test light and turn the signal on, ground 1 side and probe the bulb base or socket. If the light in the test light comes on when the bulb does.............no ground.

Turns out the light was just to far gone to fix with a dremmel. Swapped it out and everything works fine. 
Have to throw the old one off to the side until I get my soda blaster and give it a try before I trash the light.
