    Service manual say TDC.

    My thought, driving that little sucker for some miles: way too retarded and not appropriate for today's gas.

    Mine is running very smoothly at 10° BTC. Aside from the pertronix II bone stock engine (318LA)

    I'm curious how you actually set the timing on these with a timing light? I've done it before, but it's always required 2 people: one under the van holding the light, and the other on top looking at the mark and moving the distributor.

    Any tips?
