    Battery Box Empty Battery Box

Post by RF Man Sun Jul 19, 2015 1:12 pm

Anybody do anything creative with their battery mounting. The metal battery box concerns somewhat. I'm missing the lid on mine and am looking for another solution rather than find a metal lid. Looking for ideas. Maybe plastic, or anybody do anything creative mounting the battery under the vehicle. Maybe some marine application?

I had a 2nd battery in my Chevy,,,,,,,just bolted some 3/4" angle iron into the shape of a box and hung it from the floor and slid a battery into it,,,,,,,you don't really need to cut a hole in the floor to visit your battery every night.........

If you want more ideas, just go to the search tab at the top of the page and type in battery.  There are a lot of threads on this topic.  Check out "see you later battery " thread.  Pretty cool idea!
