Also I see no oil filter which should be on the same side. I guess it has been removed. I downloaded a 66 shop manual and the 240 looked different in the pics. Just need some guidance in alien territory. Thanks

Hey Bob,
Not a dumb question at all, I went through similar one time. It is an integrated
filter. You can still get them off the vintage Mustang websites. I ran an inline
filter in the line before reaching the filter/pump and it doesn't seem to hurt with
fuel starvation.
