I actually have used colored see thru type celophane works well & can be done with any colou you wish.

I would guess you could buy that at a hobby store. Has heat been an issue ?

(as for the clear glass behind the gauges, I found out the hard way - just how brittle it WAS. lol)

you can get bulbs on ebay, that's what I did,

i used some of the brides nail polish to color the bulbs. lots of colors to choose from and hasn't burnt off yet, 12 years...
