Love the Falcon...Lots of character!

"Sharp Looking" Falcon..!!!.. ..Here is a sneak peek of my "New Hurst Shifter" and where I am mounting it.....

My wife and I where looking through some old pics, found this one of our first Xmas tree. It was 1981. The Ghia got restored and sold along time ago. The tree got burnt in a bon fire. I still have the wife!!

Another cool local van.

When you install the shifter on the lid like that, is there some kind of guides underneath to keep the slack on the cable from tangling up underneath? Some pics of the process would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks Joe. Paul

Sorry guy's I missed the posts...I am going to use a couple of 5/16 insulated cable clamps along the left side of the lid (Inside) and a couple of 3/8 ones on the box part so the cable will slide up and down when I open the lid... With a 8 foot cable I can loop it around the top of the trans so it will slide across it and some rubber wrapped around the cable to proctect it from the trans cutting it I will post pictures when I get the cable.. ..
