Yepper....I remember this Van & a 108" Chop both Together at Bowling Green in 1976! I do believe they called themselves "Chop City Vans". They were either from Kentucky or Tennessee ?dix wrote:

There was an 8-door,1st gen. for sale about a year and a half ago.Floating around the Ala./Ga.border.Owner claimed the real deal.Never was verified if a real good shop/home job,dealer done,or factory.
The steering wheel is on the side with the doors too.If a factory,one off item,it would be the only one known.

Shouldn't the door handle be on the forward side door? And facing towards the back? Just a thought...

I'm guessing he had to use passenger doors for the driver side as the originals were not good enough to use. If that is an original....good luck finding another set of those driver side doors...lol.

My 3rd van (Mitsubishi Delicat 4X4 turbo-diesel).
Now I realize I may raise some eyebrows with this non -American van but I modified it a lot, had many roadtrips including taking my 2 1/2yrs old by myself for a 5 weeks roadtrip across Canada and the states.
And all 3 of them, crazy me!
