finding history of truck

Anyone from Colorado know this truck? I was under the truck today and noticed with a flashlight that the whole bottom of the truck is painted with the pearl that's on the interior. I think at one time this must have been a really nice truck, just trying to find pictures of it with the pearl paint job and wondered why they painted over it with the flat black. I did find the email of a person that had it before the guy I bought it from but got no response.
