summer before last drove I-80 cross the bottom of Wyoming to the high Uinta mountains, due west. actually drove as fast as 85mph on a regular basis against a stiff headwind. i've been over the front end exhaustively and beefed up the suspension, have the swaybar and 275/15 tires. running a straight six 250 with a three speed manual. obviously it wasn't uncomfortable really at all but in retrospect i'm wonderin' if you more experienced knowledgable guys think that was O.K. or was i being recklessly unsafe?

Re: top speed?
Did you happen to notice the flex in the windshield at around 90 MPH?

Re: top speed?
I would say if you had your wife and or children in your van / pickup then yes, other than that you should know what your comfortable with,

Re: top speed?
I've only been up to 90 but it gets pretty light on the wheel above 85. I'm not even close to topping it out at that but the roads around here are not really worthy of 60 mph!
