The 2013 Nationals

Over all good turn out 660 , I think. I thought it was very well run. Only thing that sucked was the weather. Never so sick of rain and mud. And yes my camping luck continues. 2011 lost 2 canopies and this year lost 2 canopies plus a new tent. Wish I got a pictures of camp before Weds storm, but here what it looked like after. Had to piece part of one of canopies to fix whats was left of my tent

After the trip this year will be alot of work cleaning the mud off before putting away and the van is no different

Hate to hear that. Hope they're ok. The wind was pretty harsh today, I had to white knuckle it most of the way home.

Sorry to hear about the econo . after the earlie line up i talked to doug from show trucks he needs some time and he will e-mail the photo so i talked to smilely  with vcvc. we will get the photo posted and find out how many would like to buy it for cost plus shipping  . then we can take orders for them at this time if people can get the word out that this is in the makes  it would help , but please no orders till we get this all to gather, and hope it all works out. P.S. there were 53 earlies in the line up ...

We Just seen the pictures that Howard sent of the Accident it is VERY BAD there van rolled over Joe and Jess are fighting for there life and had a helicopter take them to the ER.  We will all have to pray for them as far as they can tell by the first post we got it was a tire that blew out. And we are getting E Mails from other Vanners about over heating and braking down and tire problems also I hope everyone makes it home safe.

Prayers going out for those involved in the accident. So sorry to hear about that. I am happy to report that Savage and myself made it home without a problem. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone and putting faces with the names on here.

I'm just throwing this out there. I do not know Jess or Joe. But in the Pittsburgh area we have 2 van clubs Custom Coaches and 3 River Vans So i'm sure if needed we would be willing to recover the owners items and put it in to safe storage for Jess and Joe. But their family would have to make those arrangements because they would not let anyone remove any thing with out all the red tape done. If we can help then we are willing to do so...

I'm hearing/reading about this on several different sites, it's awful. I lost a wheel on Thursday morning and luckily no major damage or injuries. This is so much worse.

*****VANNERS***** Update on Joe and Jess from family>>>> I spoke to Joey, they both are in a lot of pain, cut up pretty bad, road rash, stitches and no broken bones or life threatening incidents. Jess is in ICU in and out of consciousness, a lot of cuts and stitches too. Getting an MRI to see if any cracked bones. As you all know Joe's sense of humor is still there...when he says is spirit is not broken just his ass...hurts like hell. Jess doesn't have a phone in her room although I asked Joe to tell her we are all thinking of them both and love them both.

Doug / Virtual vanner Does a ton of photo's at van events, He took the photo's of the earlies line-up at the nats, Doug would like to do the work on the line-up photo's to make them their very best (cut/crop / chop) all the things i only read about. anyways the thinking is to sell these at a reasonable price with any and all profits going to Joe and Jess to help with the growing medical bills. as they will be large. So any help that we can send their way will be appreciated. they are both in the hospital and banged up but doing better.

Still sorting ...unfortunately I didn't get a good shot with the Fords down front.
