a couple questions can you take beer, and can i put up a canopy to get out of the sun?

Yeah , bringing beer is a Good Thing !! Yes on the canopy and make sure you have good tie/hold downs for it.

Last year being my 1st Natz I'm a little new to it all myself. There you could place an order at the gate and pick your beverages up like ordering take-out.

It's just like camping only better, there are food venders there. You can bring a grill and cook for yourself, but no open campfires. Good showers at this fair grounds. Lots to see and do threw the day

if nothing more happins to the van, i'll be there thursday, cant wait to meet you guys, i'm only about 55 miles away from there, is there asigned parking for what your driveing or do i just look for other old vans to park by, i dont want to set up and then have to move becouse i'm in a club members spot,

Park any where for the most part, just drive around looking for early's you'll find someones van you know

is there two different areas one for camping and one for chowing your van ?

All the Van related activities have an area they will use separate from your vancamp site. Believe me it's very well organized. Don't worry to much about anything. As it gets closer, see who else here is going and try to buddy up for a group thing. Depending on what time is available , I may just end up swiping my moms minivan for this one if I need to make a quicker run out of it,LOL. Schedules for things perhaps are or will be available soon. Watch for links like the one Dix posted. There will be more.

another stupid question, is it more a family thing or a guys thing, the reason i ask are you guys taking your wives ? my wife does'nt care if she goes or not,

dodge man a lot of the people get there tuesday and start flaging off spots for their club or group, if it's not flaged it's aval. like digz states as it comes closer we will know who is going and when they would be there. don't take the next part personal.!!!!!don't park next to a group of younger vanners displaying huge speakers. they will out last you at night, sleep all day and you won't enjoy the music that they do...don't park next to a large camper cuz they will run their generator and air conditiner all night long, and if you need electric bring 100 ft cord of it .

Your entry fee covers 1 van and 2 people if she wants to go home you are only a hour away.

yes she can. i did that 2 years ago , about 3 weeks before the nats i let them know ahead of time. so the gake knew every thing ahead, and it could not have been easier,

she may not wont to come at all, i just didnt know if they would let her come in a car, sounds like a great time, cant wait,

she can park outside the gate. but you would have to meet her there .if you arrange it ahead of time they will hold the matching wrist band from your entry for her, every one must wear the wrist band. it's there way to spot who did or did not pay.vendors and band and so on would wear a differnt color .

about 3 cases of beer a lawn chair and my scooter, not to foret my coffee pot for morning coffee, i'll be in the height of my glory !
