What's goin on yall. I'm new here from long beach, Mississippi. I was starting to think I had the only early 65' Econoline left in existence until I stumbled upon this place. I've got a quick question about what this wire goes to in the picture below. Its kind of hard to see but its on the interior of the van above the fuel tank and right behind the left brake light if you're sitting in the van. I'm planning on a full rewire of the van and I've been trying to get some kind of picture of what everything goes to before I decide to start ripping stuff out. Thanks!

Figured I'd throw in a pic of the van as well.

I'm into As much more than Es, but that appears to be the rear harness. It goes from the dash area up along the driver's side roof area, down the rear corner, thru the bulkhead to the underside.
Again, on an A, this includes the following wires, probably the same for the E, but find a wiring diagram to confirm.
left side tail light and brake/turn light
    Fuel tank sending unit wire
    license plate light wire
right side tail light and brake/turn light

    Oh, and welcome to VV!

All the wires for the lights and turn signals are actually above the wire I showed which goes straight down. I guess it might be the fuel tank sending unit wire? The picture is sideways by the way. I think I forgot to mention that. I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

    Hi Lance and welcome
I just went and looked at mine to be sure. I just pulled that wire harness out as some of the wires were rubbed bare near the front.
Mine is a 62 and there are 3 wires running through there.
An orange one (Fuel Sender Wire), and Green and also a Brown wire that will run to the other side and up through the floor there.
Green should be right side brake and turn and the Brown wire is the pear/running lights.
Here are a couple of pics I just took

Those wires go through the grommet down and across running through the rear valance and over to supply the right turn signal/brake and running light, the license plate running on the same running light wire, and the orange one for the gas tank sending unit.
