First, make sure you can get the adapter.
Seems some here have had an issue with that.
Next, go find a cardboard box. Cut out a 15" circle.
Get a cardboard tube. Cut it to the length of the offset and the thickness of the adapter. If the original wheel is still on, measure how high it is from the base to where the cardboard tube can be placed. Cut this distance off the tube.
Sit in the van and place your tube and circle on the column or wheel.
This will be a matter of physical size and taste, along with any other mods done to your van, so you will have to see if it fits you and your van comfortably.
I'm 6'4", so a chopped top won't work for me.

here is what i used because i liked that look but it does not bolt down like a regular wheel .3 screws hold it down so i made a spacer plate but it was a lot of work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/70-71-72-73-74-Mopar-E-body-steering-wheel-/170903792597?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27caa8ebd5&vxp=mtr

I used the wooden wheel myself and actually like it better than the stock one. The stock wheel was too low and I always hit the turn signal switch with my hand going around turns. Dont have that problem with the wooden one and its easier to drive in my opinion.

there are more pics in my album (see forum sig)

thanks craig, it steers easy, i thought it might be harder to steer with a smaller wheel.
