It was carquest. Only thing i had to do is find a bigger washer so it would not slip through the hole but i had one in the washers drawer for that. Other then that remove old cable install new and thats it.

Can anyone post a pic or have a diagram of the manual choke cable path? I have a cable to install, but it seems too long for a direct route and when I wind it all around under the radiator and back up through the doghouse it is hard to pull/push with all the length and bends.

    Thanks

Cut it to fit. Cut through everything to get the final length of the cable. Then mark the outside sheath with tape. Pull the inside cable out and cut the sheath.

Keep the path as short as possible without any tight bends.

    Thanks Barnabas.
The cable assy I'm using I got from Bill a member here out of a crunched van. I ran it under the floor and through the speedometer hole then up the driver's side of the engine and connected it. Length was perfect so I guess that is pretty much how it was supposed to go. To help matters I soaked it in WD40 overnight to loosen it up a bit. Works well now…Doghouse top goes on tomorrow!

I used the universal NAPA cable when I upgraded to a Weber on my A100. Good Luck
