Just got home from a double shift day at work but I read this today at lunch time. I had a tough time with my lunch after reading this and it really bothered me all day long. Chris, you can rest assured we are all pulling for you and wish you only the best. I pray you beat this like many others have. I had cancer in my appendix of all places 10 years ago but havent had any reoccurence since. I got lucky and they caught it early and no treatment was required after having my appendix removed. I still get checked but all is good so far. I wish you that same success and my prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

I just read this and heard the news of you being sick. I am very shocked & saddened!!! I was very stunned to see you selling your 69 Chevy & then when I saw that you were selling project G it really shocked me!!! I am at a lost for words to express what I think you mean to this site and what a loss it would be without you here!!! I have read probaly about every post that you have posted since I have been here & have always looked forward to the next day for all of the new ones that I would wake up and find that you had posted!!! I would just like to say that you can fight this and win!!! My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and she beat it at the age of 72 so I know that you can man!!! I just want to say that you will always be a part of this site to me & I hope and pray that you will be ok man. Just fight it man don't give up!!!

Praying for you and your family

Just to let everyone know Baker's is still on, and would like to see as many of you there as possible

I'd really like to go. Its about a 8 hour drive for me. But i'm a bit nervous about breaking down. Wonder if Taz is going? I'd pass by where he lives on my way. Maybe i can follow him. Gonna try and make it.

I want to keep this thread going and bring attention to it. Baker's is still on and I will do my best to keep up with the tradition G-Man has established. He's given me dozens of boxes of items for goody bags and for the raffle. I've had several offers from fellow vanners who will help me with the days' events. Please help me, Chris, and all our fellow vanners make this years' event another one for the vannin' history books. I'm uncertain if I'll send out any additonal fliers or reminders, but I will keep posting on here to keep current with any information or updates if necessary. We'll have raffles, 50/50, and goody bags. I'm also working on awards and dash plaques. So put the date on your calendar if you haven't already. Keep on truckin', all the way to Baker's!!!

I met with Chris on Saturday and got even MORE goodies for the goodie bags! Chris is still doing a fine job helping as much as he can with the Baker's show. I look forward to seeing all of you, and you especially Chris, at Baker's in less than a month! Billski

Awards are on order. Dash plates are on order. Goodie bags to be "stuffed" this weekend. Van to be washed, waxed, and detailed this weekend (my Father's Day project). The countdown is on! YAHOO!

Have to say with all going on with my life right now I haven't have time to even start my 69. But as always the good old girl didn't let me down. Started right up took her for a little ride to the gas station for some fresh fuel and did a few burn outs on the way back. Going to clean her up this weekend to get her ready for Baker's. Can't wait to see everyone!!!!
