Re: wireing harness
Nope, there are companies that will make one for older cars. I'd imagine that they could do one for a van but it would be expensive.
I found an NOS one at a swap meet a year ago and have posted that I'd be willing to provide it for duplicating, but no takers.
Another route would be to get an aftermarket harness (Rebel Wire, Ron Francis, etc.) and use that to rewire.

Re: wireing harness
ok here it is a friend took a wiring harness from a mid 70's dodge van for the engine and most of the wires lay right in place coil, starter, alt, ballest resistor ,choke, and he moved the new type voltage regulator to the driver side wheel well most of the colors are the same. spliced the wires in that were needed. sound fairly easy to me. I would make sure all the wires were sodered to gather insted of a splice.

Re: wireing harness
Definitely doing mine this winter (and this time I mean it!)
Thinking of doing what JKR did and move the fuse box behind the driver's seat. Since a PO left me without a glove box, I may hide some speakers or storage under each side of the dash.
I would solder then shrink wrap any splices. It's nice to have automatic strippers and a ratcheting crimper.
