I can't post pics yet but I will get some up in a week or so. I am now the proud owner of a 1964 Econoline Pickup. It has a 170 with 3 speed. It's kind of rough around the edges but when I saw it I had to have it. I've been looking for an old ford truck to restore and show off and make a daily driver out of and I wanted something unique that you don't see every where. I think I now have the perfect truck for that. As I start working on it I will post pics of the progress and will most likely be referring to it as my vuck (van based truck=vuck, my cousin came up with the name lol).

Re: My 64 econoline truck
Looks nice. Just have to look after one piece at a time. Trying to redo it all at once will baffle the mind, and stress you out. So start with one thing, and before you no it...there will be the smell of fresh paint.

Re: My 64 econoline truck
I've been working on cars since I was 16 so this will be fun to do although I usually only do the mechanical work. The body work will be the real challenge, and finding a front windshield.

Re: My 64 econoline truck
A guy on ebay makes the corners and some other body panels for our Econos and Dennis makes a rear roll pan and will soon have front roll pans available.Twinpilot001 wrote:Hey Gnalan - where in Idaho are u ?? dont we all wish that someone would make all the lower body panels-like in a few pieces for all the econo pu's?? nive ride
