    hello everyone,
i found a 64 econoline panel van a few blocks away from my parents house
the owner passed away about 10 yrs ago and the van has been sitting there
for this time, it went to the owner of the house but the guy does not want it, he
gave it to his nephew who prefered a lowrider and the van is just sitting there.
the story goes like this; the original owner took very good care of it, it has a new (10 yrs ago) trans that was going to be replaced, the engine is said to be in good running condition, the body from the back alley it looks to be in decent shape no rust, its just the windshield that is bad, it has a hole in it, maybe a golf ball went thru it.
he was asking 450 for it. oh and all documentation is there. title, receipts.
the question is this, how easy is it to find a windshield for this van?
    thanks

weird harold, are those bent glass winshields for the Econolines? If it is, that sounds like a really sweet deal (thus the reason I stay the hell away from the auto glass business lol).

Just goofing around, but at first glance it looks like if I put in one of those in at market price I would make less than $9.00. scratch

My friend sells them for $130.00 plus $45.00 for the rubber and $35.00 for installation. US made glass, not made in Mexico like a lot of the windshields are.
