I get them done out here for about $135,,,,,,I like the green tinted ones the best,,,,,,they just trace your old one out on a piece of laminated glass and cut it out,,,,,,I don't even know if they would make  one out of tempered glass that would shatter into a million pieces  like the door glass does..... and we use the 66 pick up gasket on our 1st Gen vans

I'll agree with Donivan on the windshield using tempered. The liabilities would be great on a glass shop.Besides, glass is cut, ground before its tempered.Difficult for them to do afterwards,it'd shatter.Tempered glass is strong, but I'd feel sorry for the person(s) behind it when it broke.
The guys in the lab at work constantly do break patterns on windshields and body glass for mfg's standards on them, for amount of pressure, pattern and size of pieces.
Stay away from tempered on the front. No lamination to protect you.

that part number is what we order them by,,,,,,,,it is one of the BEST things to do on a 64-66 Chevy/GMC van,,,,,,,makes it look 100 % better.......they have the whole assemblys also,,,,,but not everyone likes the quality of them.....

Don't know about the sedan thing but the part# is correct. I just put a set of the whole assembly's on my 65 but their so cheaply made that I save the old one's for backup.

just to clarify windshield glass- its =ALL Laminated!!!!!!!!!!! Tempered glass is used everywhere else!! Thats due to the human head & body going thru the windshield!! You wont go thru temempered glass!! Safety concerns!! affraid
