my buddy is rebuilding my tranny. he made a new mount for me. he mixed some kind of poly stufff. he did reserch on the stuff and said its stronger than oem. this guy is good at what he does, tought auto at voc. schools and other places. the pics arnt the best. when hes done with the trans he will send a pic of it installed.

AWESOME!!! Your buddy's gonna end up pretty busy! Unless there is any chance you can post the formula... I can see leaf spring bushings happening too!

did a little googling, and it seems that with duct tape and window weld, bushings can be restored! That's kinda good, because I will have to reinstall windshields and windows anyway!

i got mine made by a rallycar-parts shop, its urethane and originally ment to be a bushing for an old volvo rear axle bushing,but with small modification it fits perfectly. also got all the spring bushings made by the same dealer. those were modified from an 70`s ford escort bushings. will last forever,and is much "harder" than the original rubber bushings. here´s some photos of em
