    I know some of the old geezers here,, me included unfortunately, know what this is and what it was supposed to do. Someone else wanna guess??

    My guess would be that it came from a brake drum as an anti-squeal device. Not all drumes did have them.

    I have a friend that does brake drum turning and he has a strap to put on the drums to stop the vibrations while machining the drums. They will squeal like crazy if he doesn't.

    LOL ,,It's a one of a couple little plastic guides that go in your seat rails to help guide things along smoothly. Not easy to replace btw, those rails aren't really meant to come apart . I found them while swapping out the rails on the 66 and 69.
