    Seat Belts Empty Seat Belts

Post by southern man Thu Sep 23, 2010 5:09 pm

I have some two point belts I want to install. There is an 11/16 mounting bolt on the floor behind the passenger seat, about eight inches behind it and 4" from the doghouse, which I assume is for the belt, but no corresponding bolt or hole on the drivers side. The mounting holes for the belts on both wheelwells are smaller than 11/16 and while there are no bolts in either I'm guessing they're either 9/16 or 5/8.

So where is the driver's belt supposed to mount to on the doghouse side? Can I use the rear seat mount bolt?

Ouch! Painful just to look at it, but that's why I want belts.

not that it matters now, but i had the same problem and i tryed to mount it on the seat bolt but never could get it to fit right, so i just drilled a new hole and used the new bolts and washers that came with my seat belts, sorry about your Truck man...
