seat belts ?

My van doesn't have seatbelts and I was wondering how to install them.
Any ideas?

You can get a 3-point belts and use the existing anchors. Just have to find a good spot for the shoulder harness ring to mount.

Driver's side should be just behind the outside/r seat mounting bolt. Same for pass. side unless you have/had a jumpseat. The you get to make your own mounts.

Any one have some pictures of this mod? I need to do this soon, I'm having to cram my kid in his car seat. That's not gonna last long at the rate he is growing.

In the absence of seatbelt mounting bolts, you can drill out a plate to take a bolt, weld a nut to the backside of it, drill a larger hole on the body / rib section so that the nut and plate will fit in there, and then weld the plate, flatside out to the body / rib section.

That's the general idea anyway. Lap belts can be added by drilling holes, and using large washers under the floor to prevent the nut from tearing through a tiny hole...

I hope that gives some ideas, and others have example pics.
