I think I am going to do carpet on the cab roof and diamond in the rear area. Still not sure. Many restless night think about how to do any of this. It is fun though. Had it all full of tool boxes today. did my first big trip in it today to Santa Cruz and back about and some running to sales did about 125 miles. Did good on highway 1 some small hills ol 170 did alright. I am happy with this van!!!!

Workin on the interior!!! Empty Put my tunes up top!!

Post by chicanoline Mon Nov 29, 2010 6:48 pm

Moved my stereo up top, then added amp, then added Sony eq after thought... It works great for now. the sound is killer 4 6x9s, 2 in ithe middle and 2 in the back Infinity speakers with crossovers, in the doors in front. The amp added soooo much to the sound. this thing is like a big speaker box. Without the BOOOOOM BOOOOM vibrating everything within 20 ft. Just clean sound. I am 46 so it may just be me... But I like it. Just need to get the top finished and the floor layed, And I will be about there. Thanks for looking,
    Johnny

Workin on the interior!!! Empty Diamond tuck

    Post by Twinpilot001 Thu Dec 02, 2010 8:31 am

If memors serves me still- there is a cardboard backing?? with foam- diff sizes available already @ wholesale upholstery shops - than have the diamond pattern on the foam- so all u do is select the fabric and sew it on the foam. I did a diamond tuck the old way making the pattern from scratch- what a pain. look online @ wholesale uph sellers or speak with an old upholstery shop in ur area - and im saying auto types not furniture-have fun -looks great.
