mine used to look alot nicer when i had the chrome GB door, tunes in the dash,
door panels, guages were mounted neat, shifter cover, visors and dash vents...
now all MIA i never got em back
and the speedo stopped the other day (a friend re-did the guages for me 7 yrs ago repainted the guage face white, not the cable, the speedo gave up about a week after i got the van back)
since i bought the van back a vanner did hook me up with a nice ashtray at the nationals so it's looking a little better anyway... oh and no lighter either but the socket still works Wink

Previous owner covered up the speaker grill and glove box with some brushed stainless. Looks cool, but where do I put my insurance card, tester, etc?

here are two different styles i went with on my Earlies.

My 1st gens dash was hacked up pretty bad. I found a piece of Knotty pine with a cool looking knot mark in it and made a dash cover out of it

Show Me your Dash ....... Notty20pine20and20sewn20pleats

My 2nd gens dash was in good shape. I wanted to go with paint that matched the out side color.I was also look for a performance/Hot Rod look........

Show Me your Dash ....... Finisheddashdriversside

Now to get the outside of the van to look as good as the dash........

Evans Auto Upholstery did the interior of Vanishing Breed along with Redwood custom wood grain interiors. A shop called Auto Upholstery did the blue vans interior. They are both in San Bernardino. California. I built everything and they did the upholstery etc.
