above the gas tank a second vin should be stamped in the floor pan
or cross brace in a van, a truck may be in the cab floor or firewall i'd imagine
most times it takes a brass wire brush and some elbow grease to be able to read em
and hey hope we see ya at super somer here in ct or another new england event soon!

curious why does DMV want to see 2 vins?
i showed the inspector my door jam one and he did the vin verification from that
he did ask if there was a second one i told eem i would have to drop the tank to show em, he looked with a flash light to try and see it but couldn't
signed the form and i was on my way
look forward to seein ya at SS stop by and say hi

i guess if its from out of state- i had it registered in arizona at my parents, i guess its the states way of discourging you from buying a truck out of state or something vintage, got to bleed your wallet ive never seen a state this bad. as long as it is a ct truck they dont want to even want to see it. well talk at ss later
