Not sure about the A/C but they were the first to offer a V8 (318)

They did have a factory roof mounted ac unit, not quite sure sure the year it was made available. All the ones I have ever seen were camper conversions, Camp Wagon, Family Wagon and Explorers. I do know of a junk yard that has one. Not sure how complete it is.

the 273 came first and was a better engine for some modifications and still is today. as for the a/c all you had to do would be roll down the windows and open the vents.
