I have what seems like an enigma? The van is a 64 A100 made in Mexico with a 273 v8 and a 727 trans and windows all the way around ? Does anyone know anything about this option pack? And yes all numbers match. The van belonged to my father and he bought it because there was something rare about it but I don’t remember exactly what ?
It only has 19383 original miles and spent the last 19 years inside a blackberry bush that completely grew over it on my relatives ranch in Northern CA and had to be chainsawed out. A window was open and it grew inside also so it’s full of dead insects and rotted out shag carpet and curtains from 70s. the 2 seats in front are in bad shape but can be recovered. plan was tare out the hippy interior back to the original metal but now life’s has thrown a curve and I’m thinking of taking the best offer I get.
It came with a heater, an am radio YAA!!. All the emblems are still on it so no hunting new ones, no body damage but the paint was killed by the evil blackberrys all the handles and window cranks are there. The van was driven to my aunt&uncles 20 years ago but the radiator was stolen or removed during that time so other then that it ran when it was parked. It does need a restore of course .
or to make it a driveable vehicle a lot of the obvious, brakes, fuel system clean out and most everything made of rubber but it’s by no means a basket case or parts car.
If you know more about this odd package or interested in it text or call for more details.
