I have the other seat brackets that go to the floor if you want to switch over to the 4 pin type.

did you open up the pump, I do not know what the pump is for. does the van windshild wiper pump work ? they may have used it for the windshild??? thats my guess

Re: Air pump looking thing....
you guys talking about seat mounts made me look at the ones I have. The 66 uses the snap down locks. the 69 the 4 pin. to change one to another you'd need to get the part thats welded to the wheel well also. Do the rails swap out between seats from different years?? I would kind of like using the snap down ones for the truck just to make gettin at the battery easier.

Re: Air pump looking thing....
If one of you guys measures the bolt pattern on your pre '67 seats I'll measure the ones I have and well see if the tracks will change over. The fender brackets are no problem, have some spares in van #4 (wsds van)

Mystery solved...
I called the origina owner in Fresno CA (82 years old now) and said it was for the air horns he had on the roof. HA! Never woulda guessed that.
Also found out the trucks name...

That's cool, Dantra! Nice to know! I bet the prev owner was thrilled that you asked such personal questions about the truck!
