Air pump looking thing....
Is (was) mounted to the front of my dog house and I'm wondering what the hell it is. Factory item? I can snap some pics if I need too

I have no idea. Those seats don't look bad, are they short or tall back buckets ?

Re: Air pump looking thing....
Heres a shot that was emialed to me when I was buying the truck (ony pic I have at the moment)
They have the wrong rails (not that I couldn't fab something) and seem to fit really tight in the truck. I may end up using them but I would prefer having some original rails if I do. Still want some factory ones too...they change out so easy

Re: Air pump looking thing....
I'll measure the bolt pattern on mine and the height and width of the cushions. These remind me of dart or duster seats. If they are the same size as mine I have a link from mancinni racing for covers. The tracks are easy I have a couple of sets. Only the left seat moves forward and back, the right one is stationary with 4 pins.

Re: Air pump looking thing....
yea...heard them called Dart seats before. Yea find that link, I'd like to cover them and get some rails. I've looked at the bottom and see that for them to work I'll need to add some metal for rail to attach to

I got a set just like those for my parts van. They do NOT swap in there easily.

Is that a connector on the bottom of the pump?

Re: Air pump looking thing....
Clean them up real good and list them on ebay to cover the cost of the other ones. The brown ones 100. the grey ones 50. with the tracks, sorry no extra pins though.

Re: Air pump looking thing....
not really a connector...looks like a 1/4" hose could slide onto it.

I kinda like the look of these seats...they'll go with the ratrod look I plan to go after. Kinda torn on the seats...I want a stock seat set....I like the dart seats...and have a set of 08 magnum seats that are comfy but the look won't be right. I guess with pins it'd be an easy swap if I had all 3

Pins are the way to go, nice and easy to swap depending on how you feel that day.

Re: Air pump looking thing....
Man I can't find anything. At first I thought it was some kinda tire pump but decided that it couldn't be that, it was mounted solid with 2 straps.

Re: Air pump looking thing....
So I see it there on the doghouse. Looks like an air pump by the two holes on the top. I wonder what the threads are for on the shaft sleeve. Could it have been some kind of fire extinguisher?

I'd bet custom washer pump. I doubt it has a Pentastar or part number on it, huh?

Re: Air pump looking thing....
It reminds me of a tool we have in the shop to suck small amounts of fluid out of odd places ,, but with the right plumbing it could be a fun squirt gun

Re: Air pump looking thing....
Just noticed that your seats use 4 pins per seat...mine needs the 2 pin type that has the ball latches in the back67a 100 pickup wrote:Clean them up real good and list them on ebay to cover the cost of the other ones.
