Interchange list.

Hey all, I was thinking the other day how ford used to use parts from other cars to save on cost. I was looking for an adapter for my gauges to use aftermarket gauges under the original face plate and no one makes it, but they do make one for a 57-60 ford truck and it looks the exact same. So I came up with this idea.
1. we should start a interchange list for the falcon/econoline vans.
2. we should start a list of parts that will work for a upgrade or mod over original.
3. get the list together and archive it.

I know that everyone knows of one or two things that can be used on our vans that the parts guys don't know and therefor don't advertise for us.

I will start.
the round taillights lens are the same as 57-60 ford truck

The 57-58 Ford truck park light trim makes a really nice trim for our taillights. Very hard to come by though.

I just want to wake up this post. any new listings?

Been thinking about interchange parts and lookin for a list so I will try and add to this post when I can. I work in a scrap yard so any parts I could pull off more common vehicles I see and use would be great.
The little inline sixs use the same starter as the FE big block and the same same water neck gasket/thermostat as the 302.
