i am having trouble finding a fuel pump to fit my 1966 a100 slant six . the pumps at the parts house hang down further than the one i removed and hit the mount between the engine and frame. what's wrong? thanks,wayne

dont know whats wrong - this spring i also had to change my fuel pump - 66 with slant also - bought one local from carquest - ticket says fp 60577 - didnt have any problems with install - oo3

can you take a pic of your motor mount that is next to the pump?? Sounds like it is shot and that is why you don't have the proper clearance.

Crisis averted. Being a General Motors owner all my life, I finally realized that all I had to do was flip the van upside down to get the fuel pump to fit. Get it?
