First things first. Welcome to the site.....
Your best bet on a rack is to hit a few junk yards in your area and do some searching. Most of the vans have some kind of rack. You just have to find one you like and maybe some cleaning up when you get it home. Fairly cheap, I got mine for $15 and is just for show as well.

There may not be alot of them around you, but somewhere there in your state I'm sure there a good one (hidden). you could drive in the country and look for a old one just sitting in a field. Let all your buddy's know to keep a look out.

For what it's worth, Heres my $.02 --------
I managed to aquire a roof rack off a newer Chrysler, just can't remember what it was. I think it was a Magnum or Charger wagon, probably an 03 if I remember correctly.
Black bases with2 inch wide brushed aluminum crossbows and when I tossed it up nto the roof of my 70, I wasn't dissappointed with the look at all.
