    hey guys, new to the forum, i have a 64 panel van and i was wondering if anyone has any tricks to get rusted door pins out?

    Well If your talking about the door hinge pins you can try tapping them out while they are still on your van but and I mean but! You will have to remove them from the van,Sometimes you can soak them in some kind of penetrant oil and put them in a vise and use a punch and pound them out. If that does not work ,what I had to do on most of mine was heat the hinge pins and surroundings up so hot the whole mess turns red hot then use a punch and beat em out

    i tried just tapping them out but that seem to do no damage to them, but i haven't tried the heating yet, that will be the next thing i'll try. thanks for the help.
