    Hello everyone

I am brand new to this forum.  I recently purchased a 1967 Chevy C90.  It has mag wheels, '78 350 engine with Holley, 3 on the tree and more power (and louder!) than I remember my old van Wink

I live in SW Ontario less than 15 minutes from Steve Plunkett.  Looking forward to hearing and talking about old vans.  Once I figure out how to post pictures, I'll post some of mine.

640? I guess I'll have a vertical learning curve for the 1st while on this board

Does anyone here know where the VIN and stamped ID numbers are on this model? The VIN was removed from the driver's side door spot when the van was repainted and never put back on (3 owners ago) so now I need to find body codes according to a friend of mine.

A little bit about me - my 1st vehicle was a '67 in white (service van) I bought in 74 the year before I went to McGill. It served as transportation (when I could afford parking and gas) and in the summer, how I got to summer jobs - and a place to sleep after a long night out. I was forced to sell it (ugly story) in '79 and have wanted one for the last few years. Finally put an ad on Kijiji looking for one; and this is the one that responded - so I bought it!

I'd forgotten how hard it is to steer one of these beasts. I'm thinking of adding power steering (??) if it's feasible. Normally I restore my classics, but this was has already been played with, so what the heck? Why not have fun?

you probably still got the little 1st Gen, 1964-66, 16 gallon gas tank,,,,,,look on the crossmember above the rear end where the fuel hose goes through to the sender on the tank,,,it should be stamped there,,,,,,
