Was over at Gmytych's place about 9 to meet up with a few other A100 Mafia memnbers for ride out to Bakers. Shortly after arriving Larry Gill showes up with his L600 and his back halfed and tubbed A100. Tim in his beautiful A100 sportvan was right behind him. Bernie showed up a few minutes later and after a short bull session we were on the road.
Bernie had some rust repaired over the winter and some new paint work on his A100 among another very cool mod. Bernie had custom made, an all aluminum toneau cover for his A100. As cool as that alone was, he also has it open hydrolically and is remote operated. I can't even count the number of times Bernie opened it on unsuspecting onlookers as they were looking at his "A".
The first thing that caught my attention as we pulled into Bakers, was Gotavan Dan tooling thru the parking lot on the ,,, well,,, I'll just call it the "slick" bike. It got a lot of attention and he was asked about it most of the day.
Plenty of intersting shirts to be seen at Bakers this year, more then I had seen in the past.
I think the highlight of the show for me was finally getting to see Mike's Hemi A100 again and to finally have him get the chance to meet Pat. Those 2 clicked immediatly.
And just for chits and giigles, here's a few more shots from the show. Got more but it'll be a day or so before I can post them.
Could be one of the best shots I have taken of Bernies A100
