    Ignition installation Empty Ignition installation

My van came with an aftermarket ignition. I bought a replacement ignition but did not come with anything to keep it in the dash. It does have the tension spring. I bought a spacer cup but have not tried to install it yet. Does anyone know if the ignition has a "C" clip behind the dash or a spacer cup to keep the ignition in the dash? Sad

Yeah, there's a chrome cup with acc/ign/start that holds it in the dash.
Mac autoparts or carpenter sells it for more that I wanted to give.
I also bought an aftermarket from Napa for $40 after I went through three units from other autozones within one week.

    Cheers

    Thanks Econorat,

Got the ignition installed but was not easy because of the cramped space. Dash mounting bracket was in the way. Had to use fingertips to install from the back. After a few choice words, I finally got it installed!
