Pop Out Windows 65 Supervan

I have a 65 Supervan with fixed windows and am looking at adding some pop outs for ventilation.

I found a couple for sale but want to make sure this is possible and a fairly easy installation.

Has anybody done this? Is $500 a fair price? Anything I need to know before spending $500 + new seals on a couple of pop outs?

Well, stationary windows go on the van, while pop outs go in the van,,,,,,is your van set up with the inset frames for pop outs to fit into it?

I would ask for the Dimensions! Doni show show pop out opening from the bottom! mine open on the side (which the window van bought for parts did!)they are more square! back and side door windows are square? but doni knows will tell you!

If the windows shown in your post are the windows you're considering, and if they are early Econoline windows then yes they will fit. Make sure the hinge is still there on the pivot side and the latches are complete. There are inner and outer seals, both expensive as you have found. The windows are interchangeable between the sides and rear. My van had the little machine screws fastened in the moveable plates from new where the fixed windows were; Ford may have done this to keep the plates from rattling without them.

Whether they are worth $500 is only a decision you can make.

Your picture kinda shows those windows are rectangular maybe for the back of the van on the sides,,,,the doors are square windows,,,,,so is that what we are talking about? how about a picture of how the side glass is mounted into the van?

details all ways needed on customer’s part. U really need them for install/purchase.

need to hear them from seller to assure the $ spent completes the job (like U do w/ ‘seals” but there’s ‘hrdwear’, fasteners, etc too) product can adapt.

They sure look like windows for your rear side glass! ASK FOR Dimensions!!! If they fit the rear then how bad do want them? To me $500 in really good condition I'd said for air flow DO IT!! Good Investment!!!
