More importantly - for those who have insulated the inside of the doghouse, did it make a vast difference?
I used a Dynamat foil but only to stop any panel rattles that might occur. My plan is to get an external cover made for the doghouse with a zipper to access the engine when required.

It makes a huge difference in temperature of the doghouse.
The doghouse can be touched all over, but at one spot (badly adjusted insulation) - I have not measured the difference, but it is almost between "hand-warm" and "hardly-touchable".
Rattle was not my focus. The screw's should take care of that

Re: Dog house insulation
Where would one find "commercial duct insulation" and what did you use to keep it in place?
