She sure was! She was hoping to have it ready for the Natz, but the mechanic didn't believe it to be so? We'll see?

Everything! Top to bottom. He pre-oiled the pump and claimed it showed 70#'s pressure with just a drill spinning it! New bearings, rings, pistons, etc. an Edlebrock performer manifold with a holley, 500 I believe? Should run very strong!

Our mechanic called to say the radiator we gave him was only a 2 core? I did not catch that? You have a V-8 in yours don't you? If so, what size rad did you go with?
Thanks!

I got the dog house off of the A-100 and want to insulate it correctly? Anyone have some sound advice on this?

When ever I gather up the correct insulation and get the dents pounded out and painted.

Re: New Engine for the 8 Door A-100
Bring them to the Natz, that will be fine! I'm sure the mechanic is going to have it for a while? I just wanted to get things ready for when it came time for re-install.
Thanks Dix, I sure will owe you one!

A lot of these guys have been using Dyno-mat that has a self stick on the back but i did mine before any one used it. i cant say how well it will work. some guys are saying a roofing product is the same thing only 1/2 the price (Ice and water sheild) .again i don't know. what i used was HVAC heating duct wrap

Re: New Engine for the 8 Door A-100
I bought a roll of some shiny stuff at a local swap meet a few years back, I believe it was in Canfield? I was originally going to do my DH, but then Jewels' was in need of it, thus the switch. LOL The stuff I got looks more like sound deadening, and might not be correct for a heated area as it looks as though it has plastic & air bubbles in it???
