He said he had a pair of seats that came out of his A108...so they were probably non- A108 seats that were added to his van at some point in time is my guess...

No, didn't say that. Just that the A100 had no tracks on the pass side.
My 69 has short-backed seats, which I believe are original.
And re $$$ - the small seats off the A100 are pretty searched for by some dragsters/gassers, as they are are pretty light. Find any seat for the A100 for small bucks....

the dodge a100 seat does have a short back, ,
69 is correct the seats were used in the drag racing community

The custom ,sportsman vans have adjustable tracks on both sides . Pulled a set out of a 65 van for for my 68 truck. And had some covers made by Legendary using the 64 dart pattern.
