Is this some type of control for trailer brakes? I want to remove it but it seems to have a brake line running down that Y's into the main Break line? (I think, i just took a quick look last night)Trailer Brakes? Dsc02915

It's a trailer brake......You can remove that line, one way is to remove that "T" that it goes into with the other 2 lines and join those 2 other lines with a Flare connector.

are ya sure its not some kind of fast foreward for the 8-track player :-) looks like its really in the way, maybe you should shorten it down by about 2-3 inches and keep it on there fer when ya wanna tow your backhoe. I Dig the red dash!! thats cool!!

Yeah, I have already removed the trailer hitch. I had to because it was homemade and it won't pass the safety inspection with it on. I would leave this control if it wasn't so in your face. Plus I do not really plan on towing anything anyways. Especially anything heavy.

Man that thing is old school for sure. Much better systems available now.

Only towing I may do with the PB is a new tandom trailer with a pair of Jet-Skis for river runs. I doubt that'll need trailer brakes, just lights.
