I’ve had my van since 2007 and have at least $35-40,000 invested in it. I’ve run out of time for this project and although I’m about 90% done I might just let it go.
I’m thinking $15,000 is about the minimum I would accept, and maybe I’m fooling myself, but it would be a good deal for anyone that wants to get into an old van.
What do you guys think? I saw a running but rough original going for almost ten grand recently so that gave me hope. It’s got a really nice paint job, solid body and floors, completely rewired, etc etc.
More pics and info would be helpful I know. If interested please PM me.

That sounds more than reasonable to me. Are there any rust issues?

Believe it or not there is almost no rust. I say almost because it’s a ‘64, but I bought it because the body was so solid. Previous owner had put a lot into fixing the already good body, and then lost interest. Indeed I’ve never done any body work on it. Wasn’t necessary and went straight to paint. Seam sealer used, solid floors throughout, etc. The rest he left for me. I’ve installed disc brakes on the front, dual master cylinder, 9” rear end with 3.5 gears, cragar mags, and on and on.
