1985 GMC vandura cargo slide door

Hi guys i am looking for the cargo sliding door of my '85 vandura G20.
Something reasonable in price.
Any ideas?

You can Google Pick a Part Los Angeles and see the wrecking yards out there,,,,,you can call them and they will tell you if they they have a Chevy or GMC van in their yard that you can go get or one of the local wrecking yards out there may have one,,,,,

,,,,,and,,,,,,,if you are out there searching for your 3rd gen parts and happen to see any of our types of van, the ones with no hoods,,,,,,let us know,,,,,,,,

What is wrong with your door,,,,,,,,,,,,have you checked with the 2 Pick a Parts along the border to see if they have it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what years fit,,,,,,,,,,call the wrecking yards in Lakeside along Highway 67 and the one in Ramona,,,,,,,,

Thanks Donovan, i want to make a restoration, mine is 85 and fits all those years to 91 i think... the sliding door i have has windows and i want a cargo door without windows.

I will try those places you suggest.

lot of people dont like windows and just weld a piece of sheet metal over it,,,,,I will stop off at the Ramona wrecking yard and see if they got a panel door,,,,,,

I'm trying to keep original parts the most i can, in case of the bottom emergency i might have to modify the one i have with some sheet metal plate.

Here is a start for you,,,a 92 Vandura 3500,,,,,,,it did not fall on my foot when I slid it open,,,,one small scratch on lower end,,,,,,,Ramona Wrecking Yard,,,,$200...........

well,,,,,,,check that a 92 G3500 will fit your van,,,,,,,that place is where highways 67 and 78 meet,,,,,,and its sure is packed in there tightly,,,,,I had to crawl over 25 cars to get to it,,,,,,there is like 6 inches between cars,,,,,,so THEY NEED TO TAKE IT OFF,,,,,so if you can arrange the transaction,  I would go get it and hold it for you,,,,,,and maybe give it to the Vans at the Bay people to haul it back up to Los Angeles,,,,,,,,

Tell them your friend checked it out yesterday and they told him it was $200,,,,,,that van is so buried it will take years to dig it out,,,,it aint going anywhere for a LONG time,,,,,,tell them what you want to pay for it,,,,,,,I SURELY think there are more of those doors and a cheaper price than that,,,,,,,I will check that HWY 67 yard next week when I am out that way,,,,,,,

I would tell them $200 aint worth driving down from Los Angeles,,,,,if,,,,,,you want to be nice to them,,,,,or if they want to buy a window door if yours is in good condition,,,,

Yes, they knew about you... they told me you went over yesterday.

Cool... if there is another choice great, its always good to have more than less.

LOL well... there is always something to finish on a project.

They didn't mention anything about the change of the price, but i told them i knew you and they didn't care... anyways... i might have to try those places that you mention by san Diego and Escondido...

So far 1985 to 1992 (maybe wider range) and i need to finish this project by August
