1969 Dodge A-108 Corey Cruiser. I am extremely stoked to have had this jewel fall in my lap from heaven above. I live 30 miles east of Dallas TX and enjoy searching Craigslist for motivated auto owners who need to sell quickly. Never thought it would be this damn cool and still trying to process it all. The guy I purchased it from paid $6000 plus shipping to have it sent to Dallas to be turned into a seating area at a hipster bar..... Thank God I saved her before that happened. It is the astro turf, lamb skin seat cover, high top conversion. Hankook tires and trans and brake system gone thru with all serviceable components replaced. I have the repair invoices showing $4800 worth of prior investment and this guy wanted a seating area????? No wonder he is closing the bar due to bankruptcy. Aside from the electrical system, which one of his contractors decided to completely cut out and wreck, the van is so much cooler than the price tag I paid. Honestly I don't know if I should even say, it was that cheap. As rare as she is I don't think I can sell her, 1 week in and both my daughters, 15 and 12, are smiling and a actually interested in a car/van that isn't some new fancy Mercedes Benz. My sincere appreciation and love for Jesus Christ for making this one happen. If you get lost and need a road map, I was told to just read the red. Much love to all

Re: 1969 Dodge Corey Cruiser
Got some more primer on her today (6 cans) and some of the obvious spots prepped for body work. I'm a much more efficient wrecker operator than a body guy so thank God my Outlaw brother is the top body tech in this part of the state. This is my first ever classic van, I have always had old trucks or old muscle cars and almost always Chevrolet or at least GM. This is going to be a fun project and eventually I hope my rolling house and a billboard for the best story ever told. Not a religious guy by any means, I grew up in church, the deacons son, my mom was the pastor's secretary, I honestly turned my nose at 18 and never looked back to this day. But I now understand things differently at 38 compared to 18. I been up on top and all the way close to the bottom, as I'm sure most everyone has. I got lost and forgot my values and who I truly was. One night about 6 or 7 months ago I asked God a question sincerely and he responded. Easy and Simple do not mean the same thing. Welcome to any and all conversation about fast cars, paint color for this van, what direction to go with the interior. I do plan on living in it, I enjoy life on the road and meeting like minded folks. This is going to be The Outlaw Church---wjere expectations are plain and simple, but we are anything but easy.
Much love

I took care of the extra pictures. That’s a cool van, it reminds me of a double-decker bus! Plenty of head room for camping or living in! Good luck with your project and thanks for the pics...

Thanks for the compliments Vanny & Seth. Appreciate the help with my lack of computer skills and I feel like I have found the perfect group here with vintage vans to keep my aim in a positive trajectory in this project
