A place I've been hitting lately has 1st and 2nd Gen belly pans on some of their vans. I know at least one of each. To get to them I have to have them raise the vans up as they are sitting on their axles. I don't know their condition since I can only see what I can see from looking through the dog house.
But, if someone is interested, let me know..

Hi Scott,
Next time your shopping at the local yard... or perhaps in your odds and ends department?
I need an odd part... I need the small section just under the rear driver side bumper bracket.
There is a small piece which is part of the body under the oval opening for the brackets. Its about 5 inches or 6", the body lines are on each side of it... if you have that off a 1st gen I could use it.
My van had some sort of tow bar and they removed that section?
Thanks,
Jacke

Hi Jacke. I know what you're saying about not having to deal with the harsh winters. It's funny that just when everyone up north is putting their vans away - that's when it finally cools off down here enough to want to get out and enjoy mine!
I'm with Vanny, I think you have done an awesome job on Goldie. The stance is perfect and with the V8 and the sway bars, you have the first "Pro Touring" van!

Hey Jacke,
I think this is what your looking for, but off of a 1st. Gen..?
I don't know if the 1st and 2nd's are the same or not.
If it looks right I can take some measurements for you. And then if it still looks right I will cut off what you need, or send the whole thing.
I bought this from a guy about eight years ago, he had parted out his 67, and later regretted it. Anyway, I drove out and bought an engine off of him, and most everything he had pulled from the van. This is one part I shouldn't ever need, and only have it because I can't bring myself to scrap it. So it just hangs in the garage..

Yes that is the type part. I will take a picture with the tape measure. So great you kept that for me. But it may be different seems bigger? I will take a picture of mine. But, even if it is not correct next thaw you can go to that great yard. I want to fly out just to search that yard!!

Jacke, I might have that sheet metal too. I'll look in my little salvage yard alongside my garage.
Scott, I think I've asked you this before. Are you going to that the fabulous yard in Annandale?! That place is awesome!

No, I called them and they said they didn't have any 60's vans out there anymore.
I'm going to a place called Rohner's Auto Parts in Willmar, MN.
And Jacke, I haven't forgotten you, I will that in the mail to you. I just have to get it boxed up.
If VANagain has one that's cool too, whatever is easiest.

Hey Jacke,
I cut a 12" section for you, that should be plenty.
I am cleaning it up a little, but should have it in the mail by Wednesday.
