by brentchaffin Fri Aug 24, 2018 6:09 pmOk so I got a trip coming up next weekend and the van is acting up. So some history. I’ve had my 1963 Econoline with a 170 for about a little over a year. So about 2 months ago I was having some fuel issues. I replaced the fuel tank, which was full of rust, fuel lines and fuel pump. That seemed to clear up a lot of the problems. Then I started randomly having issues with it stumbling at mid throttle. It would buck and jerk. If I push the throttle to the floor it would take of no problem. I thought maybe there was some dirt in the carb. I rebuilt the carb and now it’s worse. It seams to idle ok but it now stumbles mid throttle all the time. What have I done?
